Registration
Our MAR Technician Certification Course is a 5-1/2 day course that prepares you to offer fee-based lost pet services and teaches you everything covered in the Lost Pet First Responder course, plus you'll learn how to evaluate, start training, and ultimately certify a dog that can be used to detect and/or trail the scent of lost pets. The MAR Technician course overlaps with the Lost Pet First Responder course and runs from Friday evening through Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. It includes dog training sessions, forensics training, and a written certification test.
Our Lost Pet First Responder (non-certification) seminar is a 2-1/2 day seminar designed for shelter staff and volunteers, TNR volunteers, rescue group volunteers, and others who want to volunteer their time to recover lost pets in their community. It is also designed for animal industry workers who simply want to increase their knowledge about lost pet recovery techniques, lost pet services, and lost pet behaviors. The Lost Pet First Responder course does not prepare you to offer fee-based lost pet services or to use a search dog to find lost pets. It does not include dog training sessions. This course overlaps with the MAR Technician course and runs from Friday evening through Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Pre-Register for Seminars
At this time, we are accepting pre-registrations for our seminars. Pre-registration means you're requesting registration materials. When you pre-register, you are under no obligation to complete the registration process. Only when you have paid your registration fees (or a deposit) will you be considered registered and your space in the seminar will be secure.
